Mar 11, 2024 · It is possible Shimano simply renamed the 200 DC to a 150 DC to reflect the capacity like they did with the Scorpion 150 MGL. Daiwa did something similar with the old Tatula reels and renamed the old 100 to a 150 HD when the newest 100 at the time had less capacity than the old 100 they sought to re-release as an HD reel.

Dec 19, 2024 · I have had the K, and own the DC, 200M and 150mgl. I regret selling my K reels as I really liked them. I feel like Shimano reels have always palmed well, the best to me. The 200 M is as awesome as the K was, but it is a touch wider. To me it’s a non issue.

Aug 27, 2019 · The 200E7 Curado is an exceptional reel. Depending on the price and condition, they could be a good buy. The biggest issue with them is the resell value of the E series are very high so make sure they are a fair deal and what you want.

May 2, 2018 · Don't own the Met, but I do have a "plastic" Chronarch MGL 8.1:1 LOL and it is an incredible reel. Very, very smooth and effortless to cast. In full disclosure, I normally do not spend this much on a reel, but gift cards prevailed. I hope no one from Shimano reads this threat.
