Siyao Gu, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Computer Science Department of Mathematics and Computer Science

Siyao Gu earned a dual degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Minnesota. During the summer of 2015, he conducted a research about risk preference along with a Ph.D. student, analyzing how people of various ages measure the risk they confront.

I am now a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Computational Health Informatics Lab, University of Oxford, working with Prof David Clifton. Previously, I obtained my PhD degree in Computing and MRes degree (Distinction & Dean's Prize) in Medical Robotics and Image Guided Intervention, supervised by Dr Benny Lo and Prof Guang-Zhong Yang.
