2018年4月18日 · The Desiro HC electric multiple unit (EMU) trains are being manufactured by Siemens to meet the high capacity requirements of metropolitan regions. The Desiro HC is a member of the Desiro family of diesel / EMU passenger trains. More than 2,000 Desiro trains are currently operational across the world.

Due to rising fuel prices and stricter emissions regulations, these existing DMUs will have to be replaced with more environmentally friendly electric multiple units (EMUs) that operate without an overhead contact line. For these applications, Mireo can be equipped with batteries and fuel cells.
