2016年1月30日 · SIG did offer me a replacement weapon of a different model, but did not offer me a new P224 (which I would have preferred). I really wanted a sub-compact with high round capacity that matched the characteristics of my P228. No other SIG matched my preferences. My ideal preference would have been a refund of my money.

2014年12月29日 · I layed my 224 and 229 slide tops together with the rear blades lined up and the front blades were touching each other. Speaking of that slide, the 224 slide moves back when it cycles the exact same distance as a 229. When I looked at why, it's because the 224 uses a flat spring, which allows it to compress more than the wire 229 ones do.

2016年12月6日 · I've had a 9mm Sig 224 for a while now and have always shot it with the standard (flush) mags that came with it and have been, you know, generally pleased for what it is. It's not really a "compact" per se, yet it's a mini-me type Sig. It's not orders of magnitude smaller than a 229, but it's just something different to have and shoot.
