2015年4月6日 · The 556xi was a replacement from Sig for a earlier model 556 that was disaster from the factory. Out of the box the xi is a severe letdown. The folding stock is about two inches too small for me. I am about 5'10". The cheek riser is a must due to the small folding stock as well. I contacted Sig and inquired about the telescoping stock.

2023年5月5日 · I lusted for one but popped popcorn and waited to see if Sig would support/adapt/perfect it and Sig then launched the 556XI as the remedy. Bought it, love it, consider it the illegitimate love child of the Sig 551 with some great DNA. It did everything an AR15/M400 could not.

2015年3月15日 · I removed the sig brace and buffer tube from my sig556 XI Russian pistol and used the DDLES from the XI Russian pistol on my standard sig 556xi and then installed an AR buffer tube with a Magpul Butt stock.

The Sig 556xi was threaded just like any other AR-15 with 1/2x28mm threads. Most brakes that are threaded 1/2x28mm are for 5.56/.223 only.
