Oct 11, 2022 · This has proven excellent both times I have now tested it. Sig’s KinETHIC system is likewise an excellent addition for reminding the hunter of the distance limits he sets for himself. The only disappointment that I had with the Sig Sierra6 BDX 3-18×44 scope I tested was that it was not as good optically as I would expect for a scope at ~$1,000.

Nov 24, 2013 · Sig BDX Scope Review Continued Optics At this time, the scopes in the BDX line are variants of the Sierra 3 scopes. The scope I had for testing was their 4.5-14 x44, which as a 30mm tube. They also have a 3.5 -10 as well as a 6-18 in the line, but I requested the 4.5-14 as a good middle of the road range for hunting and some longer range shooting.

Jul 16, 2018 · I know the guys that have had good success/experience with Sig have absolutely loved them. I'm in the opposite camp right now, and after my experience with my brand new 2200 rangefinder I wouldn't trust this fancy new BDX setup one bit.

Jan 6, 2020 · Likewise, in terms of environmentals and onboard ballistics, the 2400 BDX and the Sig 3k are virtual twins. Again, check out the 2400 BDX review, but basically, environmentals and your custom curve are uploaded to the RF via the app, with ballistics solutions being handled by the onboard AB ultralite software out to 800 yards.

Nov 24, 2013 · Sig has also started moving BDX tech up their product line with the introduction of the Sierra 6 BDX scopes, which will come in 2-12, 3-18, and 5-30 magnfications. These scopes are still second focal plane, but they have a 6x erector, improved glass, and improved Bluetooth connectivity made possible by the relocation of the communication pod.

Apr 10, 2014 · Need some help... when I have the Kilo 3000 paired with the Sig BDX app, I can put the Timeout function (in ABU mode) to timeout at 120 or 180 seconds and the display stays on accordingly. When I turn off the phone, the kilo doesn't hold that setting and defaults to a very short timeout on the display... much less than 15 seconds.

Dec 12, 2022 · The 10x42 is a newer version, and very few reviews. We just started carrying in, and skipped the compact version. We have the 10k and 6k, both in 10x42. Pretty sure that the compact 6K does not have the extended connectivity to Garmin and Kestral, but does connect to Sig's BDX scopes.
