Shalitex board is widely used to fill the gaps between joints by sealing them. It is made using compressed bitumen that helps in filling the expansions in concrete slabs. The high bitumen content allows the board to adopt the shape and expansion joints to ensure complete sealing.

Shalitex Board is cane fibre soft board impregnated with Special Grade of Bitumen. It is a perfect base material for expansion joint filers. The board's compression and recovery characteristics conform to the U.K., U.S.A. and Indian Standards much above the required averages.

ShaliTex Expansion Joint Filler Board is a pre-moulded, high performance joint filler board. It is a closed cell and of cross linked structure. It has an excellent recovery of 95% (after compression upto 50%), which makes it the most suitable product for this application.
