2018年9月18日 · man.. i remember seeing them at Voodoo Fest in New Orleans years ago. They were up before Metallica and amazingly, there were a lot of Metallica fans that had been camping out at the front of the stage and a good amount (enough for me to notice) were literally booing Silversun Pickups because they were so impatient to see Metallica.

2019年3月5日 · The Pit is my favorite, but I have a lot of songs tied for second. Well Thought Out Twinkles, Lazy Eye, Panic Switch, Substitution, man I just really love Silversun. Except their early early stuff. I like them after they developed their sound, but can appreciate it for sure.

The first person here to get it. When he's not harmonizing with her he sings differently, and she is singing along with him in Lazy Eye. A lot of people picked on this band for the lead singer sounding like a girl, and it really disappointed me, they are a fantastic band.

Love Silversun Pickups, but they cannot fill the hole left in my heart after Smashing Pumpkins first 3 albums. Siamese Dream is hands down my favorite album from the 90s. Corgan shreds all over that record. Too bad he lost his marbles.

Silversun Pickups claim they have been heavily influenced by Modest Mouse and The Velvet Underground as well as other lesser-known acts.

2020年4月17日 · Definitely doesn't sound like 'same ol' decent lazy eye' (I don't hear a 'D' sound), but it doesn't sound like 'same mona Lisa lazy eye' either (he doesn't make enough syllables to make 'mona'). It's something like "same ol' lecent lazy eye" (I hear a T in there) He's using a classic grunge mumbling technique, so it could be a lot of things.

Yeah, the Smashing Pumpkins comparison is really apt, as is the aspects of The Breeders. As a huge Smashing Pumpkins fan, I think that similarity was what originally drew me to the Silversun Pickups. Heck, even the initials are the same. I could never really get into the Pickups, though, and it's no fault of their own.

2018年8月12日 · Hell yeah! I was like, wtf so confused when I read that comment. Live 105 was one of the stations that made Silversun Pickups popular, imo. They gave the band tons of spins and invited them to play a bunch of festivals from the beginning. I saw them at BFD a couple times and they are so amazing live.
