The Simca 1000, or Simca Mille in French, is a small, boxy rear-engined four-door saloon, manufactured for 18 years by French automaker Simca, from 1961 to 1978. The origins of the Simca 1000 do not lie in France but in Italy.

Simca 900 Présentée en novembre 1962, pour l'année-modèle 1963, la Simca 900 reprend l'ancien moteur 44 ch des premières Simca 1000 mais avec une finition simplifiée permettant d'obtenir un très bon prix d'appel : 5 950 F, soit 500 F de moins au catalogue 1963 qu'une Aronde P60 Étoile 6 en fin de carrière, proposée à 6 450 F !

A 900C with 39 PS was offered in 1963–4. The range was absorbed back into the 1000 line in 1966. Spanish production of the 0·8-litre 900 began in 1970.

2022年7月6日 · Dispuesta a hacer cambios mecánicos en la versión española del SIMCA 1000, la dirección de Chrysler Europa apostó por acompasarlos con un nuevo interior. Todo ello buscando rebajar el precio de venta al mínimo posible, haciendo del SIMCA 900 una opción perfecta como segundo coche para el día a día en la ciudad.

14-X-2022: Curioso este SIMCA 900 Special con carburador de doble cuerpo de apertura diferenciada frente al monocuerpo Solex F/32 BISCA, que era el mismo para el 900 normal el 1000 GT y el 1000 Rally español. De allí que le saque 1 CV DIN al 1000 (944cc) y da 128/130 Km/h contra los 125 Km/h del 1000 o los 115 Km/h del 900 monocuerpo.
