The group was founded in July 2008 by friends Lewis Brindley ("Xephos") and Simon Lane ("Honeydew"), with the creation of their YouTube channel named "BlueXephos" on 8 July 2008, and the publishing of their first YouTube video on 19 July 2008.

Honeydew the Dwarf (played by Simon) is one of the three main protagonists of the Minecraft Series. He is a Dwarf of Khaz Modan (although, strangely, he is as tall as everyone else in the game), girthed from cheek to jowl by an impressive ginger beard.

2021年5月5日 · Right now, he primarily plays Minecraft and other games on his own Twitch channel, and sometimes invites other Yogs. The vods are on the YouTube channel Honeydew Live. So yes, he's very much an active Yog but, like Sips, he mostly takes it slow and does what he wants. EDIT: Simon also did a 3rd minecraft series called Digsite after returning.

No one's sure whether stress / mental health was the primary reason for Simon's former absence, but it almost certainly played a part. I'd much rather have a happy Simon doing stuff on stream and with Tom than a stressed Simon being dragged into every video with Lewis.
