2012年12月23日 · I purchased (Well, not purchased because it was free) The "More Holiday Presents" Pack, and I cannot for the life of me find the Christmas tree anywhere in my game. I have looked all over build mode and buy mode, and I can't find it!

If the room is too small, if the tree is near to anything (like a ceiling lamp, decoration, gift pile, wall) some of the tree decorations don't show up. But I find the solution to be having a big room and putting the tree in the middle and no stuff near it. Of course this isn't ideal for some sims with smaller homes, but at least it's worth a try.

When I place a Christmas tree (I've tried both one from my household inventory and a new one) and click the "place presents pile under tree" option, the empty decoration boxes disappear but the presents don't show up. If I click the tree again the "remove present pile" option is visible so it's doing something but I can't see/interact with them.

It can be either the pile of boxes, or you can place a Christmas tree and then use the add present pile option on the tree to spawn the boxes. At 8pm on Winterfest, Father Winter will arrive, do a belly laugh upon arrival and then if uninterrupted, he'll head for a present pile and fill it with enough gifts for the sims on the lot.

The kids get to write Christmas lists where it goes to the North Pole and there's a location where you see the North Pole! Obviously having to complete the quest of “raising Christmas joy and spirits” to discover it but it would go great with the winter times of the seasons pack.

See if this deletes &/or frees up the items for deleting with the sledgehammer. If any of the tree skirts or the tree went to the household inventory, I think it would be safest to just delete them, though they would likely be reset when re-adding to the lot. I would then rebuild the floor, then re-add your items to the room and a new tree ...
