2025年2月11日 · On the SIMS Share, remove EVERYONE READ WRITE, and add Local_SIMS_Users Read Only. On the SIMS Share, and add Local_SIMS_Administrators Read Write. There is a census related folder in the SIMS share, you'll want to break inheritance on that folder and remove the _users group's access and grant the census team RW.

2020年11月25日 · It also copies the connect.ini into the SIMS application folder if it is not already there. That connect.ini just points back to the SIMS SQL Server. Then create an Intune app with the Microsoft tool and deploy it to staff laptops every time there's a SIMS update. Point it to the Pulsar.exe file version for detection.

2011年7月9日 · Well for a start, command reporter doesn't need trusted logins, so you can create a SIMS user account for this third party app, or just let it use your credentials, though most third party apps require certain extra permissions groups, e.g. third party reporting, so i'd go with giving them a SIMS account plus it's better for auditing.
