Sire V3 2nd Gen vs V7 1st Gen - TalkBass.com
2019年9月24日 · The V3 is a nice bass guitar, with the same preamp but cheaper hardware than the V7 (both bridge and the tuners seemed rather cheap to me, perhaps in practice it wouldn't be an issue). Soundwise, since the preamp is the same, it felt really similar.
NBD - Sire V3 - TalkBass.com
2012年3月9日 · The Sire V3 is a lot of bass for the $. It is more than enough to get the job done. I agree , change the strings to your favorite brand & perhaps the tuner s and bridge and you’ve got a great quality bass.

Sire V3 1st gen vs 2nd gen - TalkBass.com
2009年7月29日 · As for the 2nd-gen Sire, I'm curious how it'll feel in your hands, given the slightly flatter fretboard radius. Personally, I prefer a curvier, 7.25" radius, which all the 1st-gen V7's and V9's had. Now, only the V7 Vintages have that feature, but …
Sire V3 (2nd gen) or TRBX304? - TalkBass.com
2004年3月31日 · Because of the budget of around €300 I think I could best pick a Sire V3 (2nd gen) or a TRBX304. I tried the Sire in a store and liked it, but the Yamaha is not available in a store nearby. What I like about the Yamaha is it's looks, 24 frets and it's a Yamaha. What I like about the Sire is the rounded edges and ability to control the mid tones.
Sire V3 Pickguard - TalkBass.com
2002年12月16日 · Hey good people, I have recently bought myself a Sire V3 Jazz Bass and as obsessed as I am with the way it looks and sounds, I'm always keen on changing my pickguards now and then. The only problem is I don't see a lot of of them available for the Sire basses like they do for fenders. I'm not...

2010年3月29日 · I didn`t really consider a Sire V3 as I had a V7 previously and at £430 wasn`t too impressed and sent it back. But when I saw the Andertons "All about the bass" video on the V3 on Youtube, I thought I would give it a go. Got a V3 in white for £235, took it down the studio that night completely stock and had a blast.
Please share your negative experiences with Sire V3 (1st generation)
2019年2月24日 · I have a Sire V3 (first gen) and have had no problems with it. I recently decided to keep only one jazz bass in my collection as I'm sort of heading into a P Bass phase. Between a MIM Fender Jazz and a Sire V3, I kept the Sire due to the quality and versatility. I'm confident enough of its durability to make it the only jazz bass I'm keeping.

2017年7月16日 · Played, a few mim Fenders, a squier a v3 and a v7 today. The sire basses are way better playing and sounding than the Fender basses. The tuners are maybe the only thing of a lesser quality. I will try a black v7 4 string in store next week.
Sire v7 vs v3 vs m2 - TalkBass.com
2013年10月28日 · I've had all three in 4 strings and for me, I've kept the V7. The build quality on them, especially the 2nd Gen ones, is very very nice. To me V7 has a noticeable step up in quality from the V3 I had, plus I'm a sucker for blocks and binding. Tone wise they aren't much different, but quality wise the extra cost is worth it in my eyes.
