SIRE V5 24-5 & P5R 5 REVIEW - TalkBass.com
2015年2月11日 · The new Sire P5R and V5 24 have the redesigned pickups that will be used in the gen3 series. The P5R has a better pickup with more low end than the regular P5 before it (the newer P5's will also be equiped with this pickup) and the same counts for the new V5 24 when compared to the "normal" gen 2 V5's.

SIRE MARCUS MILLER V5 WORTH IT? - TalkBass.com
2006年10月24日 · The Sire V5 is a beautiful bass that sounds killer. I don't know how they can give you so much quality for so little money. In your opinion, would you do some upgrades on the V5? (bridge, electronics, pickups, tuning machines, etc...) or would you leave it stock? View attachment 4520688 Photo by: @jbenztillthisday View attachment 4520686
Sire V5 vs V7, which has the better/hotter sounding pickups in …
2013年2月14日 · In interested in getting a new Jazz and since the Sire V5's & V7's seem like a great vfm atm, I'd like to know which of the two sounds the best stock, in passive mode. Fact is, while I don't really need or care for an active Jazz sound, I do like the colors of the V7's way more (especially the metalic green & burgundy one).
Sire Marcus Miller vs. Fender Players Series - TalkBass.com
2019年3月24日 · Yes, I thinking about Sire V5 but I can't find any review. I like roasted finish. Actually I have some problem with v7 preamp, is too much for me. Putting a preamp in a Sire V5 - TalkBass.com
2021年6月10日 · I've been eyeing Sire 5-string jazz basses, especially the V5 arriving this year with the roasted maple neck and off-white color. I'm looking to play mainly gospel and R&B on it, and I know most of the gospel guys use active basses. But the V5 is passive. What do you all think about putting a preamp (eg. BassMods, Nordstrand) in the V5?
NBD: Sire Marcus Miller V5 Alder-4 NT - TalkBass.com
2022年8月11日 · Congrats! 3 of my students have Sire jazzbasses and like them very much, and these Sires stand out far ahead among other students instruments or music school Squiers/mex Fenders. It's a serious bass, I'm happy these are still quite cheap.
Swapping pickups in a Sire V5 24 5 string? - TalkBass.com
2024年11月17日 · Pardon me if this has been covered in another thread but I did try to do a search 1st. I do not currently own the bass, but if/when I buy one, I am pondering doing a pickup swap on that bass. Specifically, I was considering putting in a SCPB in the neck position. Probably do a matching...
Sire vs Fender? - TalkBass.com
2020年12月31日 · I have several fenders Including an Ultra Jazz v and a MIM Jazz I also have a Sire V3 Gen2 and a V7 Gen 2 and Both of the Sires would get the nod over the MIM today . And the fact that the Sire can be active or passive is a plus. Also the Sire pickups and Preamp are head and shoulders above anything fender put in any bass that was Not MIA.
5 string bass: Sire vs Fender Player - TalkBass.com
2023年7月8日 · In my humble opinion, the Sires are an amazing value for the money, especially if you stick to the V5/V7 range. The player series are great too, but when I play them I have a hard time figuring out where the extra $500 went vs. the Sire. The advantage of the Fender is that sourcing replacement parts and upgrades will be a breeze.
