Singapore International School (Hong Kong) is a unique school outside Singapore that is guided closely by the Singapore education philosophy. The school is the only Singaporean overseas school recognised and supported by Singapore’s MOE. Established in September 1991, SISHK offers a rigorous bilingual curriculum.

Singapore International School was first established in September 1991 in Kennedy Town with an enrolment of 200 pupils. In 1995, SIS moved to its current premises in Aberdeen. The new purpose-built school was built on land granted by the Hong Kong government, and the cost of the building was borne by the Singapore Government.

Today, however, backed by the strong support of the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE), SISHK now offers a Singapore-styled, through-train education programme from preparatory years to pre-university levels.

SIS offers a bilingual education in English and Chinese (Mandarin). Its Programme is uniquely designed to provide young children with a holistic education experience. All subjects with the exception of Mathematics are conducted in both English and Chinese.

Singapore International School (Hong Kong) (SISHK) is a kindergarten, elementary and secondary (up to Form Four, offers Cambridge IGCSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma First Year and second year) school situated in two different campuses on Nam Long Shan Road, Hong Kong Island.
