2014年12月12日 · BB-8, sometimes spelled and pronounced Beebee-Ate and nicknamed BB, was a BB-series astromech droid who operated approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor. He had a dome head, similar to that of R2 series astromech droids, with the bulk of his body made up of a ball on which the droid's head rolled.

BB-8 (or Beebee-Ate) is a droid character in the Star Wars franchise. He appeared in the three films of the sequel trilogy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019).

BB-8 is an astromech droid and one of the main characters in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Carrying part of a map that leads to Luke Skywalker, he is forced to part with Poe Dameron, his master and close friend. He travels across the deserts of Jakku in order to keep the map out of the hands of the First Order.

BB-8 helped both Poe and Rey as the Resistance rebuilt itself after Crait – only to face terrible new threats in the resurrected Emperor Palpatine and his Sith armada. On a mission to Pasaana, BB-8 made a new friend – D-O, a shy little droid who’d been mistreated by his master.

BB-8 is a supporting character in Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. At the Battle of Exegol, he helped Finn and a group of former stormtroopers attack the Sith Eternal's fleet of Xyston -class Star Destroyers, the Final Order, while his friend R2-D2 accompanied Poe in his X-wing.

I blasted through it with a Droid team under HK with R2, BB8, IG88 and Chopper. Much of it was credited to BB8 and his two zetas, because in full Droid teams BB8 also taunts when he uses his little jiggle move. That ultimately caused Bb8 to have permanent taunt and together with Self Preservation Protocol he became unkillable to the Ewoks.
