2023年8月25日 · The Neckers Building was constructed in 1963. It is approximately 186,000 square feet. Space in the Neckers Building is assigned to the College of Science, Graduate School and the School of Medicine. The existing heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system is original to the facility and has outlived its useful life.

SIU Medicine is home to more than 300 qualified and compassionate health care providers. SIU Medicine accepts a wide variety of governmental and non-governmental health plans to serve our community.

Physics is located on the 4th floor of the Neckers building. Neckers is just south of the Student Center in between the Student Center and the Bantera Center (former SIU Arena). See campus map for more information.

For those wishing to pursue advanced studies in Biochemistry and Chemistry, we offer both Master's and Doctoral Programs in all major fields of Chemistry. The School hosts weekly seminars from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Neckers 240 unless otherwise noted.

Make a right turn onto Lincoln Drive and Neckers will be on your right just past the Student Center. Parking is available across the street from Neckers or at the SIUC Arena.
