To protect the chrome or special finish of Sloan flushometers, DO NOT USE toothed tools to install or service these valves. Use our A-50 Super-WrenchTM or other smooth-jawed wrench to secure couplings.

1 - INSTALLATION (FOR EITHER LEFT- OR RIGHT-HAND) - CONTINUED NOTE: For retrofit installation to Sloan GEM•2 flushometer (-G variation). Thread EBV-157 adapter onto valve body. Place EBV-576 GEM•2 gasket on top of sleeve assembly. Mount side mount to valve body and tighten collar nut.

NOTE: The EL-1500 series Optima sensor (a two-wire unit) replaces the older EL-150 series sensors (either three-wire or four-wire units). Refer to the wiring history shown below.

TRANSFORMER INSTALLATION Install transformer (EL-154) on a 2-Gang electrical Box, 4” x 4” x 2-1/2” IMPORTANT: ALL PLUMBINGING AND ELECTRICAL WIRING SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE CODES AND REGULATIONS. WATER SUPPLY LINES MUST BE SIZED TO PROVIDE AN ADEQUATE VOLUME OF WATER FOR EACH FIXTURE.
