These newly designed for 1996, state of the art heads are made from cast iron and replaced the former swirl-port TBI heads that had been previously used on the GM truck 350.

The port design is different that the standard SBC heads, but they fit one a Gen I small block as long as there is a Vortec intake manifold (the intake ports are taller). The Vortec head is basically known for having really good flow at lower lift.

The heads were drilled and tapped at a different angle to allow easier access to the bolts when assembling. Just match the intake to the heads used. Pre 86, Post 86, Vortec.
