2021年4月13日 · This page compares the U.S. versions of Super Mario Bros. 3 (SMB3) and Super Mario All-Stars (SMAS). It seems that Nintendo used the Japanese version of SMB3 for SMAS, so if you're familiar with the SMB3: From Japanese to English page , you may recognize some of the changes here.

Instead of one- and two-player options, SMA4 offers Mario and Mario & Luigi modes. The four-player Mario Bros. mode (included on all Super Mario Advance games) effectively replaces SMB3's Battle Game. Mario & Luigi works as a pseudo-two-player mode. After exiting a stage, the other brother appears on the map.

These are some Super Mario All-Stars SMB3 backgrounds I edited to fit into SMM2. Some of them, like the SMB3 Overworld Background were directly ripped from SMAS, while others are more or less custom, such as the "Pipe Forest". A night Version of These BGs and SMAS SMB1 Backgrounds will come soon.

2023年8月10日 · + SMB3 is the only game in All-Stars where you can't rip the playable characters from VRAM (except battle mode). This is why SMB1/2 have the boxes and this one doesn't.
