2013年12月22日 · I have been looking at model 41's for quite a while now but have not got myself one. I have 5 different Smith wheel guns but no semi auto Smiths. The model 41's that really catch my eye are the older 7 inch barrel ones with the compensator. They are just so sleek and deadly looking, true works of art.

2010年11月26日 · Smith & Wesson sent a new 41 to replace my defective one last Monday,17 Jan 2011. I received it on Wednesday but haven't had the opportunity to check it out on the range yet. I agree with most 41 shooters and shoot CCI Standard most of the time. I sometimes use Aguila Super Extra (subsonic) from the CMP both of which function fine and are accurate.

2024年1月19日 · I recently inherited my dad's beloved Model 41 with 5-1/2" Heavy Barrel from 1977 and as I was going through some of his other items I found a secondary 7" barrel for it. I noticed the 5-1/2" has "SMITH & WESSON" and "22 LONG RIFLE CTG" stamped or engraved on the barrel, but on the 7" barrel it is laser etched.

2023年7月4日 · Smith does not recommend standard velocity only for a smith 41. That is a fallacy often repeated on the internet. The owners manual simple states 22 long rifle ammo. I own 2 of them With owners manuals. Nowhere will you find only shoot standard velocity. Having said that if standard works then shoot it. I shoot all kinds in mine.

2024年4月7日 · No, that spring is for the 41 that shoots 22 LR . It is to stiff for the 22 Short. I have 2 model 41-1' and the spring is much softrer.

2016年10月24日 · the Victory and the Model 41 are completely different pistol designs. the victory is a range pistol for sure, but it's not in the same class as the M-41. All target ammo that I know of is SV, and that's what the M-41 was made to shoot. Regards, Gregory

2015年4月19日 · Everything I've ever read on the 41 says to use standard velocity ammo. Don't know if they use a different spring for the 5in vs the 7.5 , but I'd try a fresh recoil spring with each barrel. If they work , mark them so they stay as a combo. I only use std vel ammo and the only thing that stops my Mod.41 is a build up of crud.
