I don't get why its chugging so much blue smoke on a cold startup. The GP harness is questionable so I probably should fix that, but any other thoughts?

2001年11月1日 · A week ago I was driving home when all of a sudden my tdi started blowing black smoke when accelerating. It otherwise seemed to dive fine. No engine light on either. I took it in to a repair shop who spent 3 days unable to figure out what the problem was. They then did compression test and got 450, 410, 376, and 450 psi.

2013年3月17日 · Still hard to start, lots of white smoke and the pump isn't holding prime. I do have someone with VCDS coming tomorrow morning to try and get a better diagnosis. Going to check injection timing and injection quantity.

2011年12月18日 · Prior to this modification, the car's power is good (much better than stock) for a TDI 5MT Jetta with stock nozzles and a decent tune, mufflerectomy, catectomy, ventectomy, snowscreenectomy, DG race pipe, and Southbend Stage 2 clutch. And there is barely any noticeable smoke. So that's a great place to start!
