2011年1月24日 · Woodcock & snipe taste about the same - both are worm eaters. Snipe are fun to hunt and fly well - they'll jump between 10 and 30 yards out, fly low to the ground and then zip up into the stratosphere as they leave an area. You can wait 15 minutes or so and they will return, flying high, zipping down to land. Little buggers, too.

2012年12月5日 · 11 birds total and a great days hunt. Joey said the conditions were far from ideal and the birds were sparse. However that was the best overall snipe hunt I have ever had despite my poor shooting. I learned a lot, saw lots of birds, had a great hunting partner, and made a friend. Thank you again Joey.

2010年1月7日 · LA known to have Snipe hunting. And the season runs almost two weeks longer than the Texas season. It is a straight hi-way run to Shreveport from my house and less than 3 hours away. Close enough I cold run out there one morning, scout the afternoon, spend the night, hunt the next day on a one day license, then make it back home that night.
