2020年6月23日 · Working on a 1980 Camaro (Z28) with stock or OEM wiring harness, we have installed a sniper QJet system on it, so far this has been a pretty straight forward install but now I am a little confused on interfacing the sniper system with the A/C system. The sniper install says to connect the orange wire #1 to a ground triggered A/C Relay (see below)

2021年5月10日 · This question is about installing a Classic Auto Air system on a V8 engine with a mild cam equipped with the Holley Sniper. I read that the 10-pin A Orange wire is just a momentary idle bump up and then the IAC takes over from there and maintains the idle at the programmed idle RPM.

I'm wondering how SNIPER works with A/C. Can it increase idle speed when A/C turns on? I believe I read of its ability to kill the A/C at WOT. I'm more interested in how it behaves with A/C in normal driving conditions. Would like to hear from those …

2019年6月19日 · Looking at a few online examples for Blazer wiring shows an A/C compressor relay under the hood that is Ground triggered from either a PCM or VCM. 1970 XW Fairmont (presented as a GT Falcon Replica), 351 Cleveland with Aussie 302 2V closed chamber heads. Edelbrock F351 2V dual plane intake manifold.

2020年11月19日 · The Holley Sniper EFI has an input and an output for A/C. The input tells the system that the A/C has been turned on. The output cuts-off the A/C when you smash the peddle; default is 65% WOT.

This harness gives you the access to (2) ground trigger inputs, (3) ground trigger outputs, points output, tachometer output, and digital gauge output wires. The input grounds can be used for AC kick, nitrous stage activation, and other items. The output grounds can be used for electronic fan control or A/C shutdown at wide open throttle (WOT).

2023年5月31日 · The Sniper EFI needs to see a neg (-) ground input as you noted for it's AC ON, but the control head in the dash (I'm pretty sure) outputs a 12v (+) on a green wire, which in turn signals the ECM to turn on the compressor via the compressor control relay. I just installed a Holley Sniper and got it running. Now I realize that I need to wire in the ac kick. I believe that I need to hook the pin A orange wire in the 10 pin connector to the ground of the ac relay. The way my fans are wired they come on either with temp or with the ac compressor.

2014年11月10日 · It requires a relay to open the A/C compressor clutch activation wire (terminals #30 & #87A). On more sophisticated A/C systems, this active output (+/−) may be able to disable the A/C circuit without a relay.
