Hey r/4kTV community! I recently purchased the Sony BRAVIA XR X90L, and I wanted to share my experience with you all. This is my 3rd TV I have purchased. I bought my parents a Sony X900F in 2018, myself an LG B2 in 2022, and the Sony X90L today. Initially, I bought the Sony A80L OLED from them because I had previously owned an OLED.

2008年7月7日 · It seems that after a couple of dodgy years SONY have finally taken the competition seriously. The light sensor works as intended but slowly adjusts the brightness rather than instantly. Build quality really is great and seems like a much higher end set. The two remote controls provided are nice, a simple chunky one and a slimmer low profile one. Sony is Fantastic, but for me only lasted 2 years, the main board broke, this is a common item, I had warranty so I'm beginning the 2nd year, warranty already end, so I'm just waiting to start having problems again Do I recommend Sony?

Sony and various Chinese firms are pushing 4000 nit displays due to new drivers and other technologies. Sony developed a new 22-bit Mini LED driver, 10-bit current and 12-bit Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), that dramatically increases the brightness and black levels of its 2024 tvs.

It’s Sony, their support for non Sony audio out is like Apple supporting aftermarket charger accessories. Hook up the receiver with optical and arc and power on the receiver first then the tv. It seems that Sony engineers haven’t added a time delay to detect audio out and the tv automatically assumes there is no audio out because the tv powers on so fast so defaults to internal speakers.
