The Soulseek client sets up a listening port to accept incoming TCP connections. Under certain fairly common circumstances, the listening port may not be accessible to the outside world. As Soulseek attempts each peer connection in both directions, you should be able to connect to almost any other user if your listening port is accessible.

On my soulseek client, I've put that port number into my listening port section. After checking my port status on soulseek's website, it says my port is open and that everything is correctly configured. But, on my soulseek log, whenever I reconnect it says "UPnP: Failed to forward external port (that port #) : No UPnP devices found"
