2021年2月15日 · I did this with my SP5 and will probably do it with my SP5K-PDW now that I have a spare to keep as a safe queen. If I didn’t have the extra I probably would keep it a pistol with a brace. Something to consider is that the SB tactical SP5K side folding brace will allow you to bolt up the ump style stock without much effort.

2023年1月15日 · I have an SP5K that I’ve always liked, not loved. It’s fun and accurate. I have a brace on it now and shoot the way any normal human would with a brace. Given the politics of the country in the last week, I’m debating selling or registering. I have LMT SBRs, but nothing in HK.

2017年9月7日 · I assume SP5K's would be 922r from HK in the USA so I assume we just need to make sure our part count remains correct when converting to SBR, MP5 etc ? Answer found; A pistol, such as an SP89, is not subject to 922(r). But once you make it into an SBR, which is a rifle, by adding parts... the builder must follow 922(r) This forum is awesome !!!

On a side note, I giggle like a school girl inside every time I hear someone preach the virtues of buying only HK and worshipping at the HK alter when those very same people remove original HK parts and COMPROMISE with US parts in the name of 922.
