Jan 15, 2020 · I have my InDesign preferences set up to use USA English, including the dictionary. But when I run Spell Check, it shows it is using the UK English to check spelling. How do I change the languate to USA English in the Spell Check window? It is flagging words as incorrect that are spelled correctly according to USA English. Thanks, Paul Trivilino

Jan 16, 2023 · We use InDesign 2023 with Windows 10 at work and have noticed that the InDesign spell check and dynamic spelling functions have not been working for some months. I have checked the preferences in Dictionary>Spelling are set to Hunspell, and have also tried resetting the language preference folder but nothing is working.

Nov 20, 2024 · Recently had to use InDesign 2025 on a fairly large brochure document. Spell checker would work as long as all the text was on the page you were showing on the screen but as soon as it had to jump to a new page in the same document - it crashed.
