Pictured above are example SPIDs (options tag) from a 1967 – 1972 Chevrolet or GMC truck. GM used different SPID templates based on the year of your truck. I have all the correct SPID templates custom made for each year.

This label was designed to aid service and parts personnel in identifying parts and options originally installed on that specific vehicle. This label lists both Regular Production Option (RPO) and Regular Production Accessory (RPA) codes.

A SPID properly documents which trim level your truck is and which options were added at the GM factory. A missing or unreadable SPID means there is no way to know which options were factory installed and which may have been added later by an owner.

2016年3月9日 · If you have a Monte SS, and the correct SPID label is still on the underside of the trunk lid (VIN on SPID label matches the VIN on the windshield), look for 3 RPO codes. F41 for the sport suspension, L69 for the 305HO engine, and Z65 for the Monte SS package.

2014年8月6日 · SO let's see those SPID labels, you can leave out the VIN. I want to add the RPOs with descriptions just like they say on the SPID so people can make reprints. I'll take a picture of mine tomorrow for you. Its a Canadian built 1974 GMC K10 4x4. Label is a bit worn as its on the fender and not in the glove box. Jay, I PM'ed my 79's to you.
