2018年3月20日 · The spino would have to be ridden for it to make the difference, they seem to alternate between bipedal and quadrupedal when attacking in the wild. They would probably be useful against the Dragon since they are getting a slight DPS boost off the bipedal stance, but the lack of water might not make the small DPS difference matter that much.

2018年9月30日 · Invest in taming both, but if your starting out go for spinos to begin with. Spinos are easier to get to and tame earlier on while Megas are a bit harder to get to in blue zone. While megas are absolute powerhouses the only problem with them is that they tend to aggro more dinos (purlovia for example) so I usually ride on a spino.

If a Rex is losing to a Spino he's just dead, unless there happens to be a cliff nearby that's too steep for the Spino to climb, but not too steep for the Rex to climb. If their roles were identical then balance would demand that they be equally effective, but for all intents and purposes one of them would still be redundant, even if it adds a bit of diversity to boss fights.
