It seems SSE4.1 is typically quite a small fix and not all the necessary for games. SSSE3 however, which as your image shows is not supported by Phenom II, is a different story. Even with a basic grasp of game programming and glancing over the requirements, it's easy to see why programmers would want these features available.

And SSE4.1 are in new Core2 (duo 8000 or quad 9000) processors, which also don't work with this game. It's something completely different. I wouldn't be surprised if they just blacklisted the older CPUs because it's a squad game and they believe the performance wouldn't be enough and you'd hold back your team or something.

2019年2月6日 · I'm quite familiar with SSE4.1 instructions set and we are literally speaking about 2 days of work for 4 devs to fix this issue. With EA capacity it can be done within 24 hours. Not to mention that Titanfall 2 and every single EA game does support AMD CPUs.

However if the OS is not actually using SSE4.1 specific instructions then there's a good chance that your computer may still be able to run it, but it might not be a good idea if they decide to introduce those.
