5 天之前 · We’re doing a 10 day group tour of Scotland in May. I would like to spend more time in St Andrew’s than the few hours the tour sets aside. I’m thinking of arriving in Edinburgh several days before the tour starts and booking a day trip to St Andrew’s. What are the thoughts on the best way to get there as we won’t have a car before the tour starts.

2025年2月5日 · Yes, no problem with shops. Nor restaurants, cafes, bars or most visitor attractions. (The only place I know to be closed on Sundays is the St Andrews Museum; other museums are open as usual.) Also, unlike in many parts of the country, the train and bus services between Edinburgh and St Andrews are roughly as frequent on Sundays as on weekdays.
