2023年6月16日 · Memorial Court is the main entrance to the Main Quad from Palm drive and features several sculptures by Auguste Rodin. The Oval and Palm Drive mark the gateway to the University. The Oval serves as a relaxing spot for students, faculty, and community members to have picnics, play volleyball, and enjoy the California weather.

The main entrance, located via the Outer Quad arcade, is equipped with a power-operated door. Once inside the main entrance, the elevator is straight ahead and on the left side. There are also two additional step-free entrances, one with a power-operated door, at the rear of Building 200 (closest to Lasuen Mall via arcade).

It is oriented slightly east of north along the Memorial Church–Memorial Court–Palm Drive axis. The front approach is at the end of a mile-long road, Palm Drive, which leads from the main entrance onto the university grounds and is lined with Canary Island palm trees.

The main entrance to Building 120 is accessible. It is located via the Outer Quad arcade and is equipped with a power-operated door. There are also secondary accessible entrances near Memorial Court and via the courtyard adjacent to Building 160 (power-operated door).

Map) serve as a good way to visit the main parts ofthe central campus, beginning at the Stanford Visitor Center (295 Galvez Street, at the corner of Galvez Street and Campus Drive) and concluding in White Plaza near the Stanford Bookstore.

The 100-foot-tall Memorial Arch, erected in memory of Leland Stanford Junior in 1899, soared over the entry to the Main Quadrangle for a short period during the university’s early years. The upper section of the Arch contained two observation rooms, with narrow windows through which the Inner Quad could be seen.

The main entrance of the building is located on the west side of the building and is equipped with a power-operated door. The entrance on the east side of the building, facing Angell Field, is also accessible.
