Star 30M is a recoil operated, locked breech pistol, that uses Browning-designed, linkless locking (High Power-type), with two lugs on the barrel and shaped cam under the chamber that interacts with slide stop axis iside the frame.

2012年2月26日 · I'm considering acquiring another 9mm pistol. I like the specifications and looks of the Star Model 30M. What is the opinion of folks on this board. Reliability? Ergonomics? Accuracy? I have a 28M and it is a tack driver. The 28M and 30M are basically the same with the exception of the position of the extractor. I have had no fte or ftf issues.

2018年9月11日 · The STAR 30M is a SA/DA 15 round hi-cap 9mm pistol; it was submitted in competition with the Beretta 92 and other pistols as a replacement for the Government 1911A1 but obviously, lost. The 30M (and MK, ML - lightweights) were used for a while by the Spanish Guardia Civil, Navy, and Air Force.

The production line of the Star Model 30M/30PK was taken over by the Spanish police and army and counted by security personnel and local Peruvian police. The gun loads the 9x19mm Parabellum with a 15-round detachable magazine inserted into the grip. The overall length of the 30M is just over 8 inches and relies on a 4.7 inch long barrel assembly.
