2002年1月17日 · starwind Despite the previous responses there were actually two models of starwind 22s. The first, as mentioned before, was the same hull as the Chrysler 22, but a different deck. It had an iron swing keel. The second model, designed by Jim Taylor if I recall correctly, was termed the starwind 223 and had a keel/centerboard configuration.

2008年2月14日 · I just sold the 19 and bought a Starwind 223. The 19 is a great boat!! I sailed her engineless for almost a year in Charleston harbor and offshore outside the jetties. The boat will sail in almost anything with just working sails, get a nylon sail and if its blowing you're sailing. Did a lot of overnight trips, perfect for that.

2001年9月26日 · From my understanding they are different boats, and the Boat that Wellcraft bought from Chrysler was a Starwind 22, and the Starwind 223 was created later by Starwind. I have a Starwindd 223, which has a wider beam, 8''6", and a loger LOA 22''3" as apposed to the 22''s 7''9" beam and 22''0" LOA.

2009年8月10日 · I am thinking of purchasing a 1986 starwind 19 from a friend. He mentioned the boat is great but also said that it goes down easy in gusty winds. I checked the bilge area and there does not appear to be any weighted ballast i.e. the keel space is open except the housing for the center board.
