2021年5月31日 · The 720 total Hay gets me through the Winter with about 100 Hay to spare, so do as Worblehat says - get 5 Silos and dedicate a lot of your Farm space to grass growing. And on Fall 28, use the Golden Scythe to clear your farm completely out as that gets you a lot of Hay to fill that last Silo.

This is in the wiki, but the particulars are vague: "It is recommended that enough hay be stored before winter to feed the farm's animals for the entire 28-day season, since cutting grass in winter produces less hay than in the growing seasons."

2024年11月11日 · To remove hay from the silo, you need to use the hopper in a coop or barn when the feeding trough is not full. Stand next to the hopper with a tool in your hand, or you'll just put the hay you took out back into the silo. If you have auto-fill (upgraded to deluxe), you can remove some hay from the feeding trough with a bomb.

2021年11月20日 · I have a bug where when I go to the chest in the chicken coop, I can click and get one hay out. Normal. But when I click it the second time, the hay just disappeared. Its only until I click again the hay comes back. I just can't get more than one hay.

2021年2月18日 · When I buy or collect hay and put it into my silo (both putting into the silo directly and from the coop/barn) it will disappear within a couple of days, without me filling their feeding things. It only disappears when I put it into the silo though, not when I keep it in a chest.

2021年9月30日 · If I have a Silo then hay from wild grass is placed to it, but hay from Wheat is placed to player's inventory. If Silo is full, hay from wild grass is not collected at all, although grass is cut :-(If I cut wild grass with a Sword, no hay is produced (although if I cut weeds with a sword, fiber is collected). I'm in perplexity.

2021年3月8日 · When cutting grass with a scythe is should produce hay (50% chance). This only works when there is a silo with space. This does not work in her save on Switch. She even started a new playthrough to see if that would help, but no luck. I checked the wiki and forums etc, but cannot find why the game is not giving hay while cutting grass.
