2025年3月6日 · Powered by the company’s proprietary Map Rendering Engine (MRE), Strava’s maps now utilize technology from FATMAP, an outdoor adventure platform acquired in 2022. This latest update brings key elements of FATMAP’s highly detailed maps to Strava’s global community of more than 150 million users.

Check out Strava's Route platform. If you’re looking for trails in your area, there’s now a way to find trail-specific options in the app. Head to the Maps tab, then select: Hike, Trail Run, Walk, Mountain Bike or Gravel Ride. 2025年2月26日 · On this page, you can select the desired map layers, as well as map types and heatmaps. Available map layers include: Avalanche Gradient - Shows only the slope gradients where an avalanche is likely to release, from 25° to 45°+. Gradient - Shows slope angle from 0° to 90°. For analyzing avalanche risk, the avalanche layer will also be useful.
