This module will introduce some basic graphs in Stata 12, including histograms, boxplots, scatterplots, and scatterplot matrices. Let’s use the auto data file for making some graphs. The histogram command can be used to make a simple histogram of mpg.

This is not intended to be an exhaustive tutorial, but, rather, a sampling of how to make a some of the best graphs in Stata for your regression models and predictive margins plots in particular, and some smooth descriptive graphs as well.
