Replay, who had witnessed Static's popularity in the mall, decided to make Static fall like he once did. He used the clone of Static to slander Static's name and reputation. Johnny's plan, all along, had been to exact revenge on the station that canceled his show and fired him, DKT.

Using his three clones of himself and the clone of Static, Johnny attacked the TV station that got him fired and canceled his show. Static arrived and defeated Johnny's clones while the Static clone proved to be a hard opponent. Watching the hero struggle, Replay revealed to Static that he planned to attack the studio and frame Static for it.

Witnessing Johnny causing one of his "twins" to disappear, Static is shocked, until Johnny informs him that they are merely energy copies. Static starts to recall Johnny, who now calls himself Replay, making fun of his has-been status.

"Shebang" is the fourth episode of the third season of Static Shock. It first aired on February 15, 2003. While saving some workmen, Static and Gear get a little help from a new superhero who calls herself She-Bang.
