The Sustainable Tropical Data Centre Testbed (STDCT) is the first data centre testbed in the tropics, set up to enhance Singapore's competitiveness in sustainable and efficient data centre solutions, for the region's challenging high-temperature and humidity operations.

2023年11月29日 · The STDCT programme aims to demonstrate the following outcomes in a tropical setting: Reduce energy consumption by up to 40 per-cent; Reduce water usage by 30 to 40 per-cent; Reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 40 per cent; Achieve Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of less than 1.2 for a combination of air and liquid cooling.
