2013年9月27日 · There's a very good book on the sten you may want to get. The Sten Machine Carbine by Peter Laidler. It's the book on the subject. It's not a cheap book but it's the best one out there. Peter just retired after 50 years as an armourer with first hand experience repairing stens in service.

2015年8月6日 · Fazakerley were FTRing Mk5 ex UK Military Sten guns for disposal well into the 60's. If one went in as AO12345 then it'd come out as AO12345. If in its past life it had a Mk2 magazine housing complete with its old Mk2 serial number fitted then so be it - they were interchangeable!. During its FTR it'd be correctly marked as a Mk5 of course.

2016年2月17日 · I am working on a MK5 SBR build and am curious regarding markings. My mag well is marked "STEN MK 5" and "65 A00996" there is a small gouge in front of the "65" so I am not sure if I am missing a code letter.
