There are lightweight bars, harvester bars, narrow tip bars, hard nose bars etc but the two basic styles above are what interest most people. 'Farmboss' etc is just marketing crap. Means nothing just like the current 'Magnum' stickers

2018年1月22日 · Stihl bars & chain are at the top of the pile. The chain in particular. I’ve always found “buy once, cry once” applies with these things. The Stihl ES light bars are awesome. The last 32 I bough was $200, and the chains were $37 or so. So for $275 you’re set.

2014年4月1日 · Here is my specific question. I have a bar off a Stihl 026 and a couple of new chains I would like to use on my Husky 346xp. Both are .325. The Stihl is .063, the Husky .058. Can I drill the Stihl bar to fit the Husky? Am I correct that my sprocket on the 346xp is ok? Any guess whether the Stihl chain length is ok?

2012年11月23日 · Both of those fit the largest series of Stihl's saws. The 3001 fits saws like the Stihl 070, Contra and Stihl 090. The 3002 fits the 088 and MS880. They can be modified to work on either and most aftermarket bars are double drilled to fit as either 3002 or 3001. In most cases the middle three numbers of a Stihl bar show the country of manufacture.

2011年6月8日 · Cannon bars have very hard rails, much harder than Stihl or Oregon, and are easily worth the money to me. Also the nose sprockets are half the price of Stihl (which is why I only run narrow nose Cannons vs the wide nose which uses a Stihl nose). I also run an Oregon reduced weight bar on an MS660 but it really is a little whippy.

For example, a Stihl 3003 000 9630 vs a Stihl 3003 000 8830 ??? In other words, what makes the yelolow dot bars have more of a potential for kickback?

2018年5月9日 · Thanks. The pitch and gauge of my Stihl and Echo bars are the same. (3/8" / 0.50"). I wouldn't put a Stihl chain on a Echo bar. I want to use the Stihl bar and Stihl chain on the Echo saw. The portion of the chain drive links that ride in the bar are slightly different between Stihl and Echo chains.
