The STO has a DOHC 40-valve V-10 with aluminum block and heads, and direct fuel injection. It displaces 318 cu. in. and pumps out 631 hp. Enthusiasts will note that the peak horsepower is similar to the Performante, but the STO gets a more aggressive throttle map and a sharpened top-end soundtrack.
