Determined to never sand a stock tank pool again, we did a ton of research. This epoxy is used on the outside of oil rigs and is basically as tough and resilient as you can get.

2019年6月17日 · Stock tanks are tough by their very nature and, frankly, they’re cheap enough (compared to in-ground pools) to replace in 10 years if they rust. Painting the outside of the tank is less risky. If you choose to paint the outside, here are the six steps I recommend: Remove the (inivisible) oil coating with acetone or paint thinner.

2023年4月5日 · If someone were to use SW epoxy for the interior of a galvanized stock tank pool - even though there is technically no SW epoxy for this - we're knowingly going off label here - which epoxy would be best? The surface will be sanded/roughed with an angle grinder & prepped before painting, galvanized coating removed.

2020年3月23日 · There is only one way that will work permanently to protect your stock tank pool from rusting which is a stock tank pool liner. Leaving the galvanized metal untreated or painted won’t last longer since the pool chemicals or pool salt will eventually rust the galvanized metal or eat away at the paint.
