Strv 102是Strv 81（百夫长MK3）/81B（百夫长MK5）更换L7后的编号，同时更换了更强大的发动机——低防高速的百夫长MK10，或者单纯的高速百夫长MK7……Strv 101就不说了，百夫长MK10。

Centurion ingick i det svenska försvaret åren 1953–2000, då den successivt ersattes av tyska Leopard 2 (Strv 121 och Strv 122). Centurion i Sverige fanns i versionerna: 1953: stridsvagn 81 (C III) – Centurion mark 3 inköpta från brittiska lager 1953, ursprungligen med Besa-kulsprutor, senare med svenska ksp m/39.

2023年7月28日 · Strv 102R can be added in front of Strv 104. As 102R’s powerpack hadn’t been reinforced, the power is still 650hp. This makes the mobility of 102R very slow. But, since Strv 102R and Strv 104 had been operated same time in history, 102R should be able to fire APFSDS shell with laser range finder.

The Strv 105 was an upgraded version of the Strv 102R, with improved suspension for the tracks, thermal cameras, and new driver hatch. The Strv 105 was decided in the 1990s to complement FVM's procurement of acquiring new tanks for the Swedish armed forces.

Strb 102R was a Strv 102 that got the REMO (REnovation and MODification) since the budgetary problems of the 1970s prevent new tanks replacements. REMO upgrades were a upgraded Fire control system which included a laser rangefinder, a ballistic rangefinder, and new day telescopic sights along with Lyran illumination mortars.

2023年1月22日 · The REMO upgrade on the Strv 101 and 102's added Blazer ERA, improved gun stabilization, a laser rangefinder, and improved suspension. The Strv 102's also received increased upper hull armor to the same level as the 101's.
