2002年7月11日 · I have a book which shows an 8 ft. wall as being 97 1/2" high from the bottom of the sole plate to the top of the double top plate. Subtracting 4 1/2" for the three 2x4"s leaves a stud length of 93". The local hardware store sells studs that are 92 5/8" long. Am I to assume that 92 5/8" is the standard and the book (published in 1995) is incorrect?

2005年3月14日 · I used a 6" spade bit of 9/16" diameter for most of my Romex. That is for a single romex - 12/2 or 12/3. Perhaps 3/4" for two. I do not believe the Code specifies diameter size. Common sense applies here. If you have two or more thoug, and you squeeze them together, you would be trapping heat in the cables.
