If you want good Pierrot content check Akudama Drive That said, they are a reliable studio for the industry, people know they can handle long running shows, though the industry is moving on from that format, so Pierrot will need more "Akudama Drive"

As a long running series, it's very difficult to keep the animation to be made in-house (i.e. Studio Pierrot) because of time and budget constraints. The studio has to outsource to other less demanding studios in South Korea and Japan to keep those two factors under control.

As somebody who has been following the Naruto franchise for the past 20 years, it's extremely confusing to me how a studio can go from producing a good quality weekly Shonen with very few breaks in between for an entire 20 year span to all of a sudden collapsing into the poor production quality we saw in the Funato Arc and the Himawari Academy Arc, and then going on hiatus before the Code Arc ...

The studio's Bleach adaptation contains a ton of filler. To top it off, there is a little infamous manga series called Tokyo Ghoul, which they butchered to high heaven.
