2014年5月15日 · The Sukhoi Su-24 'Fencer' is a Russian tactical bomber. It is capable of delivering nuclear and conventional weapons in all-weather conditions day and night. The two powerful AL-21F turbojets combined with the variable-geometry wing and a terrain avoidance system or TFR enables the Su-24 to fly low-level at supersonic speeds.

Designed from the outset as an all-weather, low-level attack aircraft, the Sukhoi Su-24 'Fencer' bears a resemblance to the American F-111, altough the Soviet jet is somewhat smaller.

Longe range strike fighter and bomber. In service since 1970. Bomber development to replace the M-28 and Yak-28 medium bombers. Built in many versions. Su-24M (major production) strike/bomber development with a retractable refuelling probe and a longer nose for new avionics.

The resulting aircraft, the Su-24, first flew in 1970, and deliveries of the first production version, the 'Fencer-A', began in 1974. Several variants were produced, culminating in the Su-24M 'Fencer-D', which entered service in 1986.
