2020年11月16日 · For the SU-9 via XLR we should have a 3.7k ohm at the amp's input as pointed out by Amir. The A90 has 2k ohm as John said in this thread the FLUX FA-12 has 20k as per the mfr's website the Monolith 887 - 50k as per the mfr's website Let's assume all 3 amps have identical gain settings and identical number of volume steps.

2019年3月23日 · I'm using the following hardware config: SMSL SU-9 + DA-9 + SH-9 , along with the SMSL-provided driver ver. 5.70, the speakers are Monitor Audio Bronze 2, the headset is Audioquest NightOwl. For media management and playing I use JRiver Media Center in its last version (currently 30.0.55) on Windows 11 Pro.

2019年4月28日 · Strange. I also noticed the same. The Roon path clearly shows that the Node is unfolding thwbsognal to 192KHz but my SU-9 shows 96Khz. Don't know what's the gap here. FWIW I am noticing that the Optical out from the Node sounds more cleaner and impactful in my setup and for some reason I can't get anything beyond 96KHz even if I upsample the ...

2019年2月13日 · The SU-9s best feature for me is the improved sense of space and soundstage. It's certainly opened up and put individual instruments out there on a larger stage. I'm using a Wyred4Sound preamp so your mileage may vary, but I'm very happy with the SU-9. That said, I still have a lot of respect for the s2, but the SU-9 is certainly an upgrade for me.

2018年2月6日 · Would this SU-9 have the new firmware (will contact amazon now and email shenzehenaudio now), it seems that the updated units have a s/n beginning with DAC6**** - my sticker on the side of the unit is DAC21012, the box has an older one X00WX****, HW 1.0, SW 1.2, USB 2.06 (which don't get updated so bit useless).

2021年4月27日 · With the SU-9, I have the RCA outputs connected to my Outlaw RR2160 amplifier and my SB2000 sub connected to the RR2160. From top to bottom the sound improved dramatically. Everything was more controlled, especially the bass, and all instruments sounded like they were separated and distinct, when hearing them through my Revel F36’s.
