Suidakra (stylized SuidAkrA) is a German melodic death metal band from Düsseldorf, Germany. [1] During their thirty-year career, they have performed over 200 live shows for several European and Russian tours, [ 1 ] as well as a North American tour. [ 2 ]

After over 25 years of bandhistory and 15 studio albums, SuidAkrA has become a flagship in the German metal scene. In more than 500 shows, the band constantly played tours around the globe. They played numerous European tours, 5 North American tours as well as in South America, China, Japan, Taiwan and India.

Suidakra started as Gloryfication and recorded one demo, known as "XIII" in 1994. Back then, the band played a death/thrash hybrid, and Arkadius Antonik only played guitar. Later in 1994, they changed the name of the band to Suidakra, which is Arkadius spelled backward. The band's name is often typeset SuidAkrA.
